Notice the Thread.

Have you ever questioned coincidence? Have you ever looked beyond the mere moment? I have. I often do.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how certain moments in life feel too precise to be random. A conversation that arrives at the exact second you needed it. A person you meet once, yet leaves a lasting impact. A situation that feels inconvenient until you realize it nudged you somewhere you were meant to go.

It’s easy to dismiss these things as simply chance. Life is full of noise, after all. But when I slow down, when I pay attention, I begin to notice a kind of quiet thread running through my days. A sense that the universe is stitching things together in ways I don’t always understand but will when the timing is right. My job? To trust and have faith.

Sometimes the reason is obvious.
Sometimes it takes months to reveal itself.
And sometimes a moment brings such pain that we refuse to see the deeper purpose. Though it’s there, it can only become visible to us once we choose to accept it.

I try to stay open to those small moments of connection. Not in a mystical, everything-is-a-sign kind of way, but in a grounded, curious way. I ask myself: What if this interaction is here to teach me something? What if this feeling is pointing me somewhere? What if this heartbreak is simply a redirect?

And when I choose to look at my days through this lens, things continue to shift.
A difficult moment brings me closer to my boundaries.
Small interactions remind me of who I am and the life of growth I continue to build.
A change in my plans creates space for clarity.

Some of these moments come with mixed emotions, but the meaning is still there.

I’m learning that “everything happens for a reason” isn’t about fate or perfection. It’s about perspective. It’s about choosing to look for the lesson instead of assuming there isn’t one. It’s about trusting that life is always offering us something: growth, insight, connection, if we’re willing to see it.

And maybe that’s something to consider:
The universe is always speaking, but it’s up to us to decide how deeply we’re willing to listen.

Have you ever experienced a moment that felt too aligned to be random?
